EEC Regulations

Recently John Bremner, one of the Sweet Cures business partners was talking to a trader who had to pull half her remedies off the shelves as a result of EEC regulations concerning herbal medicine. So people are going into the shop for that one thing they use to stop their migraines, control their blood pressure, stop that nasty rash, get keep their IBS under control etc, etc, etc, and the trader has to tell them the product is no longer sold.

John’s view is that the whole issue of home remedies being regulated and controlled by the EEC is a result of huge pressure from Big Pharma. They basically want to prevent people getting better without drugs, for the obvious reason that they will sell more drugs as a result. This abhorrent strategy is happening at a huge cost of lives. Whilst home remedies are by their nature safer than drugs and rarely if ever cause serious problems, thousands of people are admitted to hospital every day as a direct and indirect result of taking prescribed drugs. Many of those people die unnecessarily.

For most health problems there are natural remedies, and our legacy of successfully using natural remedies goes back to pre-history. We live in the age of information, and anyone can find out how to use natural remedies to self-cure. How did it come to be that the people we voted for are making laws that say that shops are not allowed to sell things that people have been using for thousands of years unless a bunch of bureaucrats heavily influenced by pharmaceutical lobbyists say that it’s okay to sell that thing…

The way things are going we soon won’t be able to buy any food that has beneficial properties, or nobody will be allowed to say what those beneficial properties are. Or it’ll be sold in tiny little packets so you won’t be able to get enough of it to stay well. The EEC is turning its eye to probiotics next. The idea is that they will limit the amount of probiotics you can get to the point where there will be no beneficial effect from taking them. Then they will say there is no beneficial effect, and stop them being sold altogether.

Time to stand up and be counted. People need to take action to protect themselves and their children before it’s too late.

 The fact is that it is the toxic products produced by pharmaceutical companies that need to be far more strictly monitored. They are damaging and killing too many people, and the companies producing these toxic materials are fully aware of that fact. Why is nobody in prison for that? Why is Big Pharma basically unaccountable unless there is a huge scandal like thalidomide?
