Do you suffer from bladder pain or urinary tract infections? Waterfall D-mannose is used worldwide to safely and naturally treat cystitis!
How much to take: A heaped teaspoonful of the powder (or 3 x 1g tablets) every three hours for a couple of days plus a middle of the night dose is a good guide for most people who need urgent support. A teaspoonful before bed is an excellent prophylactic dose. And a teaspoonful an hour before sex, and immediately afterwards (don't urinate until afterwards) and using for about 48 hrs afterwards is an excellent way of preventing further sex-related episodes. Basically, you take as much of it as you need either for urgent support, or maintenance. Reduce slowly as things improve. Try using before travel, cycling or sport as a preventative
Seek medical help if symptoms are not improving.
Children: reduce dosage accordingly to age.
(Drug interactions: None known. Used by pregnant women, small children, diabetics, and all animals. )
We’ve collected hundreds of stories over the years from our customers by email, some of those can be seen below. As technology has progressed, we now use an independent review company called Reevoo to collect feedback on our behalf. Reevoo have collected hundreds reviews already, and can be seen here.
Stops UTIs and cystitis symptoms, and prevents further infections in both adults and children.
Brings rapid relief from the pain, burning, and cramping feelings caused by infections.
Provides a safe long-term solution to cystitis problems. People who take Waterfall D-Mannose regularly soon begin to lose the propensity for reinfection. If a new infection threat occurs, immediately taking a double dose of Waterfall D-Mannose stops it in its tracks almost every time.
Massively improves the quality of life for cystitis sufferers. By getting rid of the infection problem at source, antibiotics and their toxic side-effects can be avoided.
Benefits the kidneys. Customer feedback strongly suggests that Waterfall D-Mannose gradually improves kidney function by about 2% per month for people whose kidneys have been damaged by frequent reinfection and the drugs taken to treat those infections.
Stops urinary reflux that can damage the kidneys, by getting rid of the inflammation and bacterial agglomeration that closes up the neck of the bladder.
Helps stop incontinence. Often people who are incontinent or intermittently so, have damaged bladders with an ever-present low level of bacteria in the urine, and a slight discomfort which people can become so used to that they no longer notice it. The Waterfall D-Mannose flushes away the bacteria, and also acts as a natural anti-inflammatory. The incontinence often just stops as the bladder returns to normal.
Works against bacterial prostatatis. People who have been in pain for years with this problem have reported substantial or complete relief within a matter of two or three days. (Men should ejaculate within a couple of hours of taking the Waterfall D-Mannose to help rid the prostate of mannose-bound bacteria, and the endotoxins that accumulate in the prostate during infection. It may be painful to do this initially, but within two days it should no longer be painful, and this is a sign that things are returning to normal.
Normalises and protects the entire urinary system. The longer people continue to take a maintenance dose of Waterfall D-Mannose, the healthier their urinary system becomes.
Pure Bio-Active D-Mannose. Nothing else. No artificial colourings, flavourings, or preservatives.
No nuts but cannot guarantee nut free. Always consult a doctor if you have a health problem or considering taking any supplement with prescription drugs.
Always replace the lid tightly. Use by Best Before End date.
It is not a herbal product, but a monosaccharide isomer of glucose, a food supplement naturally produced without using solvents. We only use the best mannose available and produce a product that is 100% contaminant free.
WDM supports a healthy bladder by providing bio-available mannose to the urine. People with a naturally healthy bladder usually have sufficient mannose in their urine. Some people may not have enough. Supplementing your diet with additional mannose is a natural way to help maintain bladder health. We get hundreds of customers every month thanking us for Waterfall D-Mannose.

Yes, to the very best of our knowledge, and according to all research. Mannose is an essential glyconutrient, a food supplement rather than a 'medicine'. It is already in every cell in your body, and your body produces mannose naturally, just as we produce vitamins like C and D. Mannose is also present in minute quantities in some foods like blueberries, pineapple, and Aloe Vera. Waterfall D-Mannose (we speak only for our product has no known adverse effects at normal or even high consumption levels Suggested maximum consumption is 50 grams a day. Being a natural product rather than a medicine, you can decide how much to take. Our guidelines are flexible.
From Invista.com "In humans, no adverse effects have been noted when oral doses of approximately 15 grams were administered at a time (about 10 level teaspoons). Even oral doses as extreme as 53 grams per day given over an 11-month period showed no adverse side effects.
However, when excessively large amounts (35 grams per hour) of Mannose was injected intravenously continuously for 10 hours, human subjects did experience fatigue, anorexia, malaise, and uric acid crystalluria”. Any other sugar injected at these levels could kill, so it highlights safety rather than dangers.
If, for some unknown reason, you want to take such huge quantities of Waterfall D-Mannose intravenously, especially over an extended period, best to discuss this with your doctor or an experienced nutritionist.
Our anecdotal experience since 2003 is that if you take more than about 3 times the suggested measure of Waterfall D-Mannose, you only absorb part of it through the small intestine. The remainder passes through to the large intestine, and could cause some wind and diarrhoea.
Not in any way, whatsoever. But it's not a treatment for Candida either. Candida/Thrush
Candidiasis or thrush is a fungal infection, of which Candida albicans is the most common.
Candidiasis presents as oral thrush and vaginitis, right through to systemic and potentially life-threatening diseases. Candida infections of the latter category are also referred to as candidemia and are usually confined to severely immunocompromised persons, such as cancer, transplant, and AIDS patients as well as non-trauma emergency surgery patients.
In normally healthy people, Candida overgrowth is commonly associated with antibiotic therapy.
To help fight Candida A., we have seen that the following works:
1. Cut down on sugar and (white) carbohydrate intake.
2. Good quality probiotics are essential to provide friendly bacteria that compete with the fungal spores.
3. Take Coconut milk and cool with coconut oil, Caprylic acid and Lauric acid (alternate)
4. A little bicarb in a sitz bath is soothing as is natural yoghurt or coconut oil on the outside tissues.
5. Avoid sugar and simple carbs
Everyone is different, so our information on our product suggests between 1 and 8 level teaspoons a day, or between 3 and 24 of the half-gram tablets a day, depending on your individual requirements. When you have an infection, it must be every three hrs and at least once in the night literally) plus you need to keep the urine pH above 7.5. Please see a doctor if there is no improvement.
To the very best of our knowledge, Waterfall D-Mannose is safe for everyone. Pure D-mannose is an essential glyconutrient. Waterfall D mannose is an isomer of glucose, not glucose, so is not metabolised (Your doctor or health care advisor will appreciate the implications of this fact. In practice, to sum up, it is generally considered safer than white sugar, for example, or drug therapy when pregnant. Finally, please remember that although we have a lot of experience in this area (since 2003), and we have done the research and accumulated knowledge of cystitis and related conditions, and on our product, we are not medically qualified, can't take account of anything we are not aware of in individual circumstances, and advise that people should always consult their doctor before changing medical treatments, or taking ANY alternative remedy or drug. Explaining that it is an isomer of glucose, not glucose and manufactured without chemicals (so naturally processed and certified free of any contaminants) and that it is already present already in every body cell will help your doctor and you make a decision. We suggest using the powder version.
To the very best of our knowledge, Waterfall D-Mannose is safe for everyone. We received this from a customer...
My daughter first got a urinary tract infection in March 2012 when she was four years old. The urinary infections caused terrible stomach pains, fever, vomiting and frequents rushes to the toilet. In the following year she was tested for infections no less than nine times and each time she was prescribed antibiotics. The antibiotics made her stomach upset and caused fatigue - walking to the corner shop was like trekking up a mountain for her.
Her attendance at school dropped significantly because she was often too ill to attend. Her urinary tract and kidneys were investigated for abnormalities but the doctors could find no reason for the repeated infections. The only suggestion for treatment that they had was low dosage antibiotics for six months. We tried all manner of preventative measures but nothing worked.
A year into this awful cycle of infections, antibiotics and visits to the paediatrician, my osteopath told me to try D-mannose. I waited a year before I tried it - in retrospect I wished I had tried it sooner as it would have saved my daughter a lot of pain and our family a lot of heartache. In June of 2014 we started with a dose of half a teaspoon in an inch of water once a day. My daughter has not had an infection since. It has taken her eight months to get her energy back but she is now an active, happy, infection-free seven year old.
D-mannose has changed our lives and we couldn’t be more grateful that we discovered it.
At normal or even five times normal consumption levels, adverse side effects have not been reported ( remember we produce a very pure, 100% contaminant free version. At very high consumption levels or after prolonged antibiotic use some wind and some loosening of the bowels may be noticed (poor absorption). Any concerns, please seek medical advice on your condition.
There are no known drug interactions with Waterfall D-Mannose, so although of course you should always ask your doctor before taking ANY alternative remedy alongside a prescription drug, it should be safe for you to do take.
By taking the product around your sex and other trigger events (sport, travelling etc.) you may help to support a healthy bladder. Taking before and after major triggers and up to 48 hrs after, has been shown to be a good preventative.
The short answer is no.
Yes, we supply to vets for cats, dogs, and horses, because it works well for animals. The effect is dose related, so you have to give Waterfall D-Mannose proportionally according to weight. You would need to give a horse much more than your domestic pet.
Today by free first class post, Special Delivery, or Courier, depending on your order. We match the delivery to your needs. You can order Special Delivery up to 5:20pm, Monday to Friday.
Yes, there are always savings when multiple units are bought. We have offers in our news letters too.
Not usually. Stay clean, stay safe. Make a note of your triggers, and avoid them.
Try to keep urine alkaline. Don't take cranberry or orange juice, and if you take more than 100 - 150 mg of vitamin C, most of the excess goes straight into your urine, increasing urine acidity.
That's up to you and the level of support that you feel your bladder needs. A maintenance dose before sleep works well. During a flare up, you will need take during the night and after weeing during the night.
Mannose is an essential glyconutrient, and by taking it, you are providing one of the foods that your body needs for optimum health, just as it needs a certain amount of vitamins, protein, etc. We suggest you use a search engine to find out about these other benefits. Long term customers find the freedom from bladder infections is a major benefit to their quality of life.
Since 2003 all of our experience and research, gives us no reason to believe that there is a contraceptive effect as so very many of our customers (many hundreds of letters) have told us they continued using the WDM all the time through trying to conceive, and their subsequent pregnancy.
Sperm does attach to eggs to an extent in the same way that E. Coli attaches to body cells - using mannose receptors. So Waterfall D-Mannose could in theory fill the mannose receptors of sperm and stop them from sticking to eggs.
However, this is a very temporary effect, and since mannose is completely out of your system within 4 hours of taking it, the effect disappears about 4 hours after your last dose of Waterfall D-Mannose.
There has been research on using D-Mannose as a natural contraceptive, perhaps with slow release implants, the only way to make it effective as a contraceptive. However, it seems unlikely to be something that will ever work as a contraceptive, as so much (90%) of the d-mannose you take is passed through the kidneys within around one hour of taking it and it all leaves the body within four hours.
Other active ingredients or methods (as in implants) would be required to enable it to work as a contraceptive. In Austria we are forced to put on the information that it cannot be used as a contraceptive, as so much misinformation is on the internet and people can be misled. What we have always said is that if you are trying to get pregnant, it's probably best to avoid taking large quantities of d-mannose around sex, unless it is more important for you to you not to get a UTI.
Having said all that, sperm are not likely to encounter mannose on its way to the egg since you are taking it orally, not applying it topically... and in fact, it is used in animal insemination alongside semen to prevent infection without impeding conception.
Of course, conception does not occur during sexual intercourse - it happens up to 36 hours later, when you are likely to be doing something quite different and when the temporary effect, if any, will have disappeared completely...
We wish you success and health and sincerely hope that you have a happy and healthy pregnancy. As always, as we do not give medical advice, so please refer any health concerns to a competent and caring medical practitioner who knows your personal history and current situation.
It has been pointed out that one-half bar of milk chocolate has approximately 1,283 mg of stearic acid. A half bar of chocolate, to give a comparison, has in fact 2000 times more than is found in one tablet of WDM.
